We're Harizo and Ivan — partners in life, partners in business. This is the story of how I&H came to be.
It started with one Airbnb.
We started with a single short-term rental in Anaheim. Harizo designed it; Ivan built it out, top to bottom. We weren't trying to launch a company — we just wanted to make one home feel as good to stay in as it would to live in.
Guests fell for it. The reviews kept coming back to the same things — the design, the space, how thoughtfully every room came together. And all of it, every renovation behind those rooms, was Ivan's craftsmanship and Harizo's eye. So when guests started asking whether we could do the same for their own homes, saying yes was easy.
That's the whole idea behind I&H today: the remodeling we do for clients is the same craft, by the same hands, that built the homes our guests love staying in. Ivan leads construction, Harizo leads design, and we keep it a small family operation on purpose — so every project gets the care we'd give our own home.
We've been told we're too hands-on for our own good. We take it as a compliment.
