The original kitchen had held on for decades — golden oak cabinets, tile counters, a wall of built-ins boxing in the family room. We took it down to the studs and rebuilt: custom white-oak cabinetry to the ceiling, a stone waterfall island with seating, an integrated bar wall, and wide-plank floors that carry through the whole great room.

Harizo grew up designing spaces. Ivan grew up building them. When they started I&H together, the idea was simple — every home, whether it's one we're remodeling or one we're welcoming guests into, should feel thoughtfully made.
Today we run a small family studio in San Jose. Ivan leads our remodeling work, turning aging Bay Area homes into spaces families are proud to live in for years to come. Harizo manages our four rental properties across California, curating them the way you'd want your own vacation home curated.
